Hi, I’m Karina!
I’m a certified run coach, personal trainer, and nutritionist that works with runners to make fitness a priority and helps them build simple habits to stay consistent with working out for the long-term!
Years ago, I was battling countless injuries and was constantly feeling fatigued or stunted in my running performance.
I would gain momentum and then either get injured or just feel BURNED OUT. I knew right then I needed to change something.
This running guide came out of my own journey. I was tired of feeling like I wasn’t progressing the way I wanted to.
The truth was, I didn’t know how much every workout MATTERED in my overall performance until I became a coach. I quickly realized that I couldn’t ALWAYS be running and I couldn’t ALWAYS be training at the same intensity. There needed to be purpose behind each workout and there needed to be a balance.
Maintenance Mode was built to show runners that at one point or another, you must reduce your training load. And it’s OK! Whether you’re in between races or looking to build a solid base without training too intensely, it is STILL possible to see results!
